Enrichment Lead Lindon Wallace shortlisted for NCFE Aspiration Awards

Our long-serving Enrichment Lead, Lindon Wallace, has been shortlisted in the Support Staff of the Year category at the 2026 NCFE Aspiration Awards, and it’s thoroughly well deserved.

Lindon has been a part of UCG’s Enrichment Team for more than 20 years, and his dedication to our students has never faltered. Through close collaboration with the Student’s Union, he has ensured student voice actively shapes our wide-ranging enrichment activities on offer and creates an environment where everyone feels valued and included.

Lindon’s supportive and approachable attitude enables students to create and take ownership of their own college events - such as our recent Winter Ball - and encourages everyone to be curious by introducing inspiring guest speakers. Thanks to Lindon, former England footballer Andy Cole and referee JJ Roble MBE have participated in talks at the college.

By working with local groups such as West London Citizens, Lindon also helps students engage in community initiatives, including the Westminster Youth Assembly, strengthening their connection to the city they live in.

Being shortlisted for the NCFE Aspiration Awards is a fitting recognition for Lindon. His work continues to transform the student experience at UCG, empowering learners to thrive both within the college and beyond.
