A fun and practical course where you will develop essential improvisation skills using a variety of games, exercises, and improvisation techniques. Improve your imagination and spontaneity, build confidence, break down your inhibitions, all in a safe and supportive environment. 
 
The course will also include an improvisation for camera session in our dedicated TV studio.
 
Session 1   
Topic: Introducing Improvisation and building the group.
Getting started - exercises and drama games to free the imagination, develop spontaneity, build confidence and group dynamic.
 
Session 2
Topic: Improvisation Techniques:
Get your improvisations flowing - Explore some essential tools, techniques and exercises. 
 
 Session 3
Topic: Improvisation for Character 
Creating dynamic characters - truthful characters, physical larger than life characters, learn how to use improvisation as a character building tool 
 
Session 4
Topic: Creating improvised scenes.
Using improvisation to devise and develop short unscripted scenes. 
 
Session 5
Topic: Improvisation to Camera 
Gaining valuable camera acting skills and techniques and using improvisation to create spontaneity in front of camera. 
 
Session 6
Topic: Performance
Bring together all your improvisation skills to create a short improvised performance.
