The United Colleges Group is to create a new world-class education facility in Brent.

UCG, which brings together College of North West London and City of Westminster College, has acquired the site of the Olympic Office Centre in Wembley, which it hopes to develop into an innovative, exciting, and state of the art centre of education.

Once complete, the new facility will bring new jobs to Wembley and the wider Brent area, and will offer opportunities to young people and adults of all ages to improve their skills, advance their careers, and gain valuable experience.

Green skills, including engineering and the built environment, will be the focus of the ambitious new facility which will also offer classes in digital technology, computing, and health and social care subjects.

Students with supported learning requirements and those for whom English is a second language will also find themselves with a wide range of opportunities to choose from.

The site, which sits at the heart of the Wembley area, is currently at stage one and the United Colleges group looks forward to working with its local authority partners in Brent to make this forward-thinking and ambitious plan a reality.
