If life as a paramedic, police officer or member of the armed services appeals to you, then our public services courses will suit you perfectly. There are many exciting job opportunities in the public services that help keep our communities safe and thriving.  

You will learn from teachers that have industry experience and provide insight into life in public services and prepare you in a structured and supportive environment. You will develop your employability skills, physical fitness and academic thinking, which gives you the opportunity to enter employment when you finish the course or progress on to university.  

Guest speakers come in throughout your course, giving you real insight into a career in public services and there are fun activities, assault courses and demonstrations. We offer outdoor adventure residential trips including camping, canoeing, orienteering, abseiling and climbing.   Your career is important so you get the opportunity to gain work experience, connection with employers and work-related projects to give you a head start in your chosen career.

Ranging from £18,000 at entry level, rising to £48,000+ with more experience.

What’s next? 

Upon successful completion of each level, you can expect to enter employment or after completing our Level 3 course you could choose to progress on to a degree-level course at college or university.
