What might seem such a simple act of just opening an envelope takes a lot of courage. What they find inside isn’t the end, it’s the beginning as new pathways open as they look to take the next steps to future careers.
For many City of Westminster College students receiving their GCSE / Level 2 grades, the nervous smiles quickly turned into wide grins.
Maria Paiva was delighted after achieving a Distinction in UAL Level 2 Diploma in Music Production and Performance. She said: “I’ve learned a lot and will take it all with me as I go on to pursue my passion for music.”

Amza finishes the year proud with his double distinction in the BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Business saying, “the business course was very sophisticated; I have learnt many things that are important and that I can use in the future”. He will be joining us again in the autumn advancing to BTEC Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Business with specialist pathways at CWC.

Rhiannon Chapman is ready to move up to UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Performing & Production Arts at CWC after her Merit success in UAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing & Production Arts. She smiled: “I thought the course was very well organised and the teachers were there to support us whenever we needed it.”

While Elizabeth Adetunji said: “The course was really fun throughout the year, and I had great classmates” after passing her Level 1 Diploma in Art & Design.
