Events ranged from the physical – boxing, football, yoga, to guitar lessons and gaming, to lectures, presentations and workshops on subjects including mind health, sexual health, being your best self, showing up in relationships, and grooming and self-care.
Presenters throughout the week included ex-footballer and Founder of the Love Sport Foundation, Jamie Forrester, Steve McKoy, Founder of the Raw McKoy Health Club, Karl Patterson, Global EDI lead for Costa Coffee, Ahmad Qadir, a Spacecraft Project Manager at NASA and United Colleges Group CEO and Principal Stephen Davis.
A highlight of the week was the United Borders bus – a converted London double decker with a games area and recording studio, where students could learn about music and video production, and record their own performances.
