On Thursday 29th February, City of Westminster College Digital, Creative and Business students attended a digital and creative masterclass at the Paddington Campus, led by Unloc - a leading education non-profit helping schools, colleges and organisations inspire and empower young people to be changemakers.
The event featured a Q&A panel comprising professionals from the digital and creative sectors, offering valuable insights into their career journeys and the requisite skills for success in their fields.
The panellists included:
- Clare Annamalai, Programme Director at Masterclass
- Florence Goodhand-Tait, Head of Learning at the Saatchi Gallery
- Gary Baker, Product Marketer & Design Director at Verizon
- Effy Harle, Community Outreach Programme Manager at Goldfinger
The students also participated in a speed networking session, honing their interview and interpersonal skills essential for the workplace.
Additionally, the students spent some time in groups researching and reflecting on challenges within the digital & creative sector, and generating potential solutions to address these challenges.
