City of Westminster College Performing Arts students recently had the chance to work with the Little Angel Theatre Company on their puppetry skills. The Little Angel Theatre, based in Islington, has been around since 1961 and is the 2024 Stage Awards’ Fringe Theatre of the Year.

The students had a great time and said the following:

"We worked with one of the cast members of "War Horse" and we learnt a lot about how puppeteers use their acting skills so that the puppet has a character too"

"It was really interesting to see how ordinary objects can become alive on stage"

"I really enjoyed operating the puppet in the scene and seeing how the audience reacts"
