Last week marked a day of celebration for students at CWC as they receive their A-Level and Level 3 results. Across our Paddington campus, students gathered to celebrate their hard-earned achievements, which reflect their dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.

Many students have secured places at universities, while others are excited to begin apprenticeships or enter the workforce in their chosen fields. The results are a testament to the supportive learning environment at UCG, where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Here's what some of them told us about their time at college and their plans for the future:

Emily, Production & Performing Arts – Level 3: "I'm super happy with my results in Production & Performing Arts. I'm off to drama school to study musical theatre. The teachers and coursework here have been so supportive throughout my journey. I’m glad I chose college over sixth form—it’s given me the chance to meet new people and gain practical knowledge."

George, ICT – Level 3: "I’m really proud to have earned a Distinction* in ICT and I’m looking forward to studying cyber security at the University of West London. My teachers at college, Paul and Peter, were always there to help and solve any problems we had."

I came in not knowing how to use a camera, but the teachers were incredibly encouraging and provided amazing resources like the media studio and darkroom."

Starting three years ago at Level 2, my time at CWC has been one of the best experiences of my life. I even received scholarships and was named Student of the Year in 2023. I’m really going to miss this place."
