Today, City of Westminster College was proud to co-host, with our colleagues in China, an online, international partnership exchange.
Students and staff from Hangzhou No. 4 High School, a public, co-educational, high school in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, and from City of Westminster College (part of United Colleges Group) in London met zia Zoom, deepening a leading international partnership formed in 2024.
Hangzhou No. 4 High School was established in 1899 by Lin Qi as one of the earliest-founded high schools in Hangzhou, and is one of the leading high schools in Zhejiang Province.
Students and staff shared presentations about life at their respective institutions, and students from both Hangzhou No. 4 High School and City of Westminster college took part in a lively Q&A session, answering questions on everything from their studies and career aspirations to their favourite foods.
Bilal Bobat, City of Westminster College’s Interim Vice Principal said ‘It was a great honour to meet with students and staff from Hangzhou No.4 High School. The exchange was a chance to learn about the different culture and student experience that students at City of Westminster College and Hangzhou No.4 High School have. The students from both organisations were great ambassadors to their respective institutions and the chance to build an understanding for our students and to share their experiences was of great value to them.’
City of Westminster College looks forward to welcoming Hangzhou No. 4 High School to London for an in-person visit in July.
