Getting work experience is important so full-time 16–18-year-old students take part in work experience, workplace visits or project work with London-based construction businesses. Upon successful completion, you can progress onto an apprenticeship or employment in electrical installation and plumbing, eventually leading to qualified electrician or heating engineer status.
