Our Lifelong Learning department offers a small provision of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses delivered by highly skilled, experienced and specialist teachers.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and First Certificate in English (FCE) courses are designed to prepare you for exams and start your journey into Higher Education or into employment in the UK and internationally.  Many students have successfully gained places on university courses with excellent results. 

IELTS, CAE and FCE courses run two days a week for four hours over 10 weeks. 

What’s next? 

Upon successful completion of the IELTS qualification, you can apply to study at many UK and international schools, colleges and universities, or work for employers in these regions.
