The course is intended for those that want to gain basic skills and knowledge in order to gain entry into the plumbing industry, they are also suitable for those that want to equip themselves with advanced plumbing knowledge and skills.
The course is delivered in a realistic working environment at Paddington Green Campus.
Successful candidates can progress to City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing.
Through practical workshop and classroom theory based work.
Multiple choice testing and practical assignments.
All equipment is provided free to 16-18 year-olds. Adults will have to provide their own boots and overalls.
City & Guilds Level 1 Diploma
All assessment and learning is done within timetabled hours.
16-18 candidates need a satisfactory school/college reference. Adult candidates wishing to change career or upskill are considered, acceptance depending on qualifications, employment history and the interview.
