The course fee is £260.

Extended Award in Bookkeeping Skills Level 1 is aimed at people working or looking to work in finance. This short, introductory qualification teaches you all the essentials of bookkeeping and the course can lead directly to the level 2 AAT course.
You do not need to have experience to take this course.

  • Elementary double entry book-keeping
  • How to record Sales in sales day book and ledgers
  • How to record purchases in purchase day book and ledgers
  • How to prepare Cash book and perform bank reconciliation
  • How to prepare petty cash book
  • How to prepare initial Trial Balance.
