A full time (four days per week) course, based at our Maida Vale Campus, supporting the personal development of young people with moderate learning disabilities and an EHC Plan. The course supports students to improve self-awareness, develop employability core skills, key skills and an understanding of the world of work. Students work with the Supported Employment Coordinator to apply for internal paid work and access eternal work experience placements.
Students on Skills for Work aim to achieve ASDAN Entry Level qualifications in Employability, which are individually chosen based on students aspirations.
In addition, students who have already achieved Entry 2 English or Maths will work towards Entry 3 English and/or Maths Functional Skills qualifications.
