Course Content

Have you always wanted to play an instrument but thought it was too difficult to start now? Do you have a ukulele that you got for Christmas once, gathering dust in the corner? Perhaps you have been learning at home, using online tools, but have found your progress stalling…

Well this is the perfect course for you! Dust off that uke, bookmark that YouTube tutorial for later, and come be guided into the delightfully fun world of ukulele by Sylvia Entwistle. You will be amazed at how quickly you can learn a few techniques to get you on your way to impressing your friends at family at their next dinner party.

Lessons are taught in a fun and practical way and you will learn chords, strumming patterns, melody playing, with a variety of songs in a social and welcoming environment. All you need is your own ukulele and you're ready to go. Specific aspirations and needs of everyone in the group will be considered, and you will be encouraged to develop your own style.

By the end of the course you'll be able to play a whole range of songs, in many styles from Pop and Rock to Soul and Disco.

This course is suitable for complete beginners who have never played an instrument before and also for those who can play a little, but want insight on how to progress further.
