Art, Design and Photography students present Art in Progress exhibition

This evening, City of Westminster College’s Creative Industries department will launch its annual Art, Design and Photography show. The exhibition, entitled Art in Progress, brings together students from across all levels – from Level 1 right up to HNC, who have chosen their best pieces to display to students, staff and members of the public. Covering a variety of disciplines including Photography, Fashion & Textiles and Graphics & 3D Design work, the show will take place on the ground floor of the College’s Paddington Green Campus.

The show, which opens to the public from Friday 10th June, is the last opportunity the students have in this academic year, to showcase their work and is a celebration of their hard work, determination and dedication. It also gives them the chance to work with others from different courses and levels in the Creative Industries department.

“The students have been working on the promotional campaign since January,” said Elaura Chuter, a Lecturer in the Creative Industries. “The show is important because it gives them a chance to exhibit their best work from the year and they should be very proud of their creations.”

Some of this year’s exhibitors will be progressing on to University in September, with a number going on to do Graphic Design, Architecture, Product Design, Fashion and Photography, while others will continue on to the next level of their course at CWC.
