Science students from UCG had a ball at the House of Medics Winter gala on Saturday, December 2, at Montcalm Royal London House.

House of Medics are a community of professionals and students with a passion for healthcare in the community and to help young people access employment in the medical profession.

So it was an incredible opportunity for our invited learners to hear from keynote speaker, Plastic Surgeon Dr Joy Odili, who shared her journey with the audience.

The UCG students — Chrystal Achempong, Aseel Tariq Osman, Paria Feghh Hassanpour, Leandra Fernandes, Asha Bakari, Borbala Toth, Sham Al Kassem and Faith Namatovu —networked with a diverse array of medical professionals, from cardiologists to dermatologists, before receiving well-deserved prizes at the end of a memorable evening.
