Our Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Information Technology students had an incredible experience last week as they were invited to attend the BLAST Premier Spring Final at London's OVO Arena Wembley.
The event, a pinnacle in the esports calendar, gave our students an exclusive opportunity to witness world-class gaming competitions and immerse themselves in the high-energy atmosphere of professional esports. They watched top teams from around the globe compete in intense matches, showcasing the skill, strategy, and excitement that defines the esports industry.
This experience directly links to our curriculum, where students study modules such as animations, games design, programming, and graphics. Watching these elements come to life in a professional setting provided invaluable context and inspiration not only for their learning, assessment but also supporting them to wider their aspiration and future career goals.
Among the highlights of the event, Adam Jama emerged as the star of the day by winning the "Crack the Code" competition. Adam's incredible win earned him £10k worth of gaming equipment, all signed by the players, making it a moment to remember.
