You may have obtained a number of GCSEs at grades 1-2 (E-G) or above. However, acceptance onto the course will also depend on your demonstrating an acceptable level of competence in English language. You will also need a suitable reference from a teacher or employer. Students who have no formal qualifications will be assessed for entry by means of written tests in English and Maths. Support classes will be recommended for those students who need to improve their language or numeracy skills in order to benefit from the course.
Applicants will be interviewed by a Business tutor, to assess their suitability for the course. As part of the interview your reference will be considered and you will be asked questions about your previous qualifications, experiences and interests in the industry. If you already have any qualifications or school/college reports, please bring them to your interview.
