Course content

This 2 week full time intensive programme is for individuals who want to work in the Retail or Customer Service Sectors. Successful participants will receive qualifications in:

  • Award in Retail Knowledge
  • Customer Service Units
  • WorkSkills including mock interviews and CVs
  • CIEH First Aid Certificate
  • Job screening with Work Zone (Westfield), for jobs in Westfield, White City. Guaranteed interviews for successfully clients

What qualifications or skills do I need to show I have before I can enrol?

In order to be eligible for this course, your will need to be:

  • Aged 18 years or over
  • A resident of Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster or Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

You will be required to sit an initial assessment prior to the commencement of the course, to determine that you are at an appropriate level. You need to be able to provide:

  • Proof of benefits (Job Seekers Allowance)
  • Proof of ID and residency:
    • UK Nationals: Passport or Full Birth Certificate + 2 proofs of address (no older than 3 months)
    • EU Nationals: Passport, EU ID Card/Travel Documents or Birth Certificate + 2 proofs of address (no older than 3 months)
    • Non UK/EU Nationals: Passport/ Home Office Documents, 2 proofs of address (no older than 3 months) + proof of residency in the UK/EU for 3 consecutive years
